The Education Forward program is designed to meet students where they are to move their education forward. The program recognizes that earning a GED is a key step in entering the workforce, college, or a training program.

The English Connection program provides a safe, accepting environment that serves not only as an English for Speakers of Other Languages program, but also as a bridge into the community at large by providing the tools for communication necessary to access employment, essential services, and safe housing.

The Urban Appalachian Community Coalition (UACC) is a project supported by Education Matters to raise awareness of the Urban Appalachian community in greater Cincinnati. UACC performs research and conducts education programming on cultural awareness and Appalachian history.
