Limon Dance Company

The limon dance company was founded in 1946 by choreographer and modern dance pioneer jose limon. Named one of america's irreplaceable dance treasures by the dance heritage coalition, limon was instrumental in shaping the creation of american modern dance and the art of choreography as we know it today.

Limon School

The limon institute, founded in 1985, is an educational and archival resource center for the new york city dance community and beyond. The institute offers daily limon technique training classes and workshops, and chronicles limon's devotion to modern dance through active documentation and educational programs.
