In early 2020, good beginnings entered into a fiscal sponsor agreement with the early care and education association (ecea). The ecea is engaged in coordinating efforts of support for children and families by strengthening early care and education in the region.

Good beginnings provides free assistance to individuals and families with newborns from birth through age 6 months. Free services include education, resource referrals, childcare, baby supplies and emergency financial support and transportation. Most years, good beginnings serves approximately 250 families.

Good beginnings also had a fiscal sponsor agreement with the 'be resilient upper valley' program (bruv.) the program is designed to develop a training program for experienced early childhood educators based on current research and practice in the field of trauma and resiliency.
