As the regional feeding america food bank, foodlink partners with hundreds of organizations to convene the emergency food system across a ten-county service area, including allegany, genesee, livingston, monroe, ontario, orleans, seneca, wayne, wyoming, and yates counties.
The foodlink community kitchen produces nearly 11,000 healthy snacks and scratch-made meals per day during the school year and nearly 200,000 meals during the summer months as the lead provider of summer meals.
Foodlink's community health programs support food access and education through a variety of programs. The curbside market program brings fresh, affordable food to low-income neighborhoods across rochester through mobile markets that make weekly stops at affordable housing sites, senior centers, health clinics, and community centers.
