Family Services

The charles settlement house family services department assists individuals and families in crisis. We provide food and clothing; family developers assist families in meeting goals to overcome the immediate crisis. 1,825 individuals received food assistance in 2019.

Youth Development

Positive youth development is a key component to charles settlement house programming. We provide youth in northwest rochester the opportunity to engage in various programs and activities that are appropriate for their age.

Community Facilities

The charles settlement house community center is a facility located at 71 parkway, rochester. It houses our youth development, family services and senior center programs. Additionally, space is rented to other non-profit organizations, including the notre dame learning center (tutoring program) and the city of rochester.
