Construction of a new library at the ST. Daniel comboni sisters in lusaka was mostly completed during the year, with funds from usaid american schools and hospitals abroad (asha). Additionally, asha-funded renovation and construction of the lubuto model library commenced and advanced during the year.

Staffs at four lubuto libraries provided comprehensive library services to children and teens in the communities they serve in zambia. These services include daily read-aloud programs and individual readers' advisory, film presentations, visual arts and drama programs, mentoring and counseling including HIV/AIDS prevention programs…

With funding from the templeton foundation's innovations in character development program, the updated combined lubutomentoring and stepping stones SRH (sexual and reproductive health) curriculum mentoring (and identification and recruitment of cohorts) was carried out throughout the year by lubuto staff trained in the mentoring.
