Dance Presenting

The joyce presents a diverse roster of artists from around the world and is responsible for financing and managing all services including artistic fees, ADVERTISING/PROMOTION and technical costs. In FY25, the joyce presented 21 dance companies over 27 weeks at the joyce theater.

Engagement Assistance

Non-profit dance companies and others rent the joyce theater at a highly subsidized weekly rental fee. In FY25, the joyce rented the theater to 14 dance companies and two other companies.

Producing, Touring, and Artist Services

Choreographers, dancers and musicians are identified and invited to collaborate on dance creation projects. These projects may take from three months to three years culminating with a premiere of the work at the joyce theater with further expectations of touring under the joyce theater productions program.
