In 2024, the consumer goods forum (CGF) worked with its members to make real progress on the issues that matter most from climate action and healthier lives, to fair working conditions and reducing waste. Our nine coalitions of action helped turn ambitions into practical steps forward, backed by shared learning and strong partnerships.

Towards Net Zeropurpose

Accelerating emissions reductions and helping businesses and suppliers thrive through the climate TRANSITION.MEMBERS voluntarily set supplier targets covering 220m tons of co across 23 companies. Built the decarbonisation solutions hub to share scalable solutions.

Forest Positive Coalitionpurpose

Mobilising resources to build a forest positive FUTURE.ACHIEVED 83% DCF reporting on palm, soy, beef, and fibre-based packaging. Launched a $5.2m sustainable landscapes partnership in brazil's cerrado. Organised PRE-COP30 engagement with brazilian stakeholders on soy and cattle.
