Fenway CDC improved the economic and social well-being of low-income and moderate-income residents by helping them to access affordable housing, social services, education, job skills training, employment, financial education, fresh healthy food, health programs, Community events, and civic engagement activities. Thoughout the 2020 pandemic, fcdc continued to provide connections to vital services and supports for affected residents of our Community. We continued to preserve, create, and advocate for much needed affordable housing.

Rental Properties

In 2023, our wholly-owned rental properties included: 15-25 hemenway apartments which is a 24 unit mixed income housing development; fenway apartments, LLC which comprises 22 units of affordable housing; new fenway westland, LLC which is a 96 unit mixed income housing development; and 43 hemenway developer LLC which was acquired in 2023.

Affordable housing preservation and development in 2023, fenway CDC provided over 650 residents with safe and affordable homes. We continued construction on the burbank terrace, LLC site which is being developed into 27 units of affordable housing in 2022-2024.

Resident Services and Workforce Development

For three decades, fenway CDC has offered counseling, case management, workshops, and social support services to help low- and moderate-income residents of fenway and other boston neighborhoods. During 2023, our programs provided unemployed and low-income residents resources and support to gain financial self-sufficiency.
