Journal of Caribbean Ornithology

a unique peer-reviewed publication. It is free, open-access, and published in three languages to accommodate authors from across the Caribbean. The entire publication process-from the submission of a manuscript to the point the finished product goes live to the world-is done 100% in-house by JCO staff.

provides support to finance direct conservation actions for three endangered Caribbean species: the Black-capped Petrel in Haiti, the Ridgway's Hawk in the Dominican Republic, and the White-breasted Thrasher in St. Lucia. In all these projects, community involvement (especially with youth) has been a key factor.
