The civic engagement strategy of enc is centered upon reaching people traditionally underrepresented: LGBTQ+, voters of color, and rural voters. This includes mobilization and education about how the election connects to long-term material benefits and combating increased voter suppression.

Equality NC works with public leaders and candidates through our program out electeds & electeds for equality, a bipartisan peer network of elected officials representing communities from across north carolina, and in every level of state and local government, who are supportive of progressive issues and LGBTQ rights and justice.
