In addition, the Foundation awards monies to each school in the local elementary districts to recognize students for their love of learning and character. The only event of the Foundation was a Virtual 5k Race/Walk on Thanksgiving Day Morning. This is the source of the Foundation's money. In April of the following year, the Foundation awards scholarships to area High School graduating Seniors based on their character and commitment to community.
