Stewardship

FLT improved wildlife habitat by removing invasive plants on four preserves and planting native plants at one preserve. Staff and volunteers also built trail bridges and made repairs on sections of Falmouths 55+ miles of trails.

Land Acquisition

FLT continued to expanded conserved lands in Falmouth, most recently with the donation of 25 acres of land adjacent to our Ridgewood Preserve.

Education & Outreach

FLT offered monthly nature hikes for the public led by a Maine Master Naturalist, led educational field trips for all many classes at the Falmouth Elementary School, Falmouth Middle School and other area preschools, schools, and after-care programs.
