Where the work happens
The jesup holds more than 39,000 books in our permanent collection, 23,000 books and audiobooks to download, 1,000 books on CD, and 1,200 movies on DVD. Our collection includes books on the history of maine, mdi, and our local acadia national park.
The jesup offers inclusive programming on a variety of topics. We hold author talks on both fiction and non-fiction works, book signings, concerts, and a wide range of informative programs and formats. Our programming is free to everyone and open to all - throughout the year.
The jesup serves as a connection point of our community. We offer friendly, helpful staff who are happy to assist you with any request, or recommend the perfect book, DVD, CD or research material, and maintain the accessibility and use of our lending and permanent resources.
