Maria Klawe is President of Math for America, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming math and science education through master teacher communities. She joined in late 2023 after serving 17 years as the fifth president of Harvey Mudd College (2006–2023), becoming its first female president and leading major initiatives in STEM diversity.
Prior to Harvey Mudd, she was Dean of Engineering and Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University.
