MATFORCE grant funding supported community-based substance use prevention initiatives in Southern Arizona. ABA facilitated coalition-building efforts implemented evidence-informed prevention strategies and delivered youth-focused education addressing alcohol opioids psychostimulants and counterfeit pill misuse.

Through a partnership with Circles of Peace funded by SAMHSA ABA implemented the evidence-based Too Good for Drugs prevention curriculum in Douglas Arizona. The program provided structured school-based education designed to build social-emotional skills strengthen decision-making and reduce youth substance use risk.

The Community Food Bank grant funded the launch of ABAs original Growing Hope Program in Douglas Arizona. The program expanded access to fresh produce and nutrition education in a rural border community experiencing high rates of food insecurity.
