Imagen foundation's exempt purpose is to encourage positive portrayals of latinos in all forms of entertainment media. The organization rewards excellence to those deserving producers, writers, directors, studios, and companies whose productions elevate the image and status of all latinos. IT also works to enhance opportunities for all latinos in front of and behind the camera by serving as a liaison involving the industry and community by providing access, education and resources.
