We advocate to our community about protecting, preserving, and raising awareness of our foothill communitys rich architectural, environmental, artistic, musical, scientific, and cultural heritage. We produce educational materials and live programs to inform the community on topics related to land use, history, arts, culture, and the personalities of Altadena, California.

Golden Poppy Awards. Annually we award neighbors with exemplary water wise gardens at a Garden Party. We also feature historical presentations of properties and people. A student art contest awards cash to students and teachers for themed artwork contests that highlight community attributes.

Old Marengo Park is managed by Altadena. We have expenses for watering, gardening, and tree pruning.

Our free annual holiday gathering for our members only provides our community a gathering place in a historic home for an afternoon of idea sharing, property tours, music programs, historical presentations and fun events.
