World Vision, INC. Is a christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. The organization also engages - and equips volunteers to engage in - the essential ministry of advocacy, working to change policies and practices that keep children and families in poverty from living the full lives god intends for them. This work includes empowering children, families, and community leaders to advocate on their own behalf. World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. The organization strives to maximize its impact by partnering with other development groups, local organizations, churches, public agencies, and governments.
