The Novato Historical Guild was founded in 1976 to collect and preserve the historical objects, archives and stories of Novato and northern Marin County, and to make those items available to the public through exhibits and educational programming. The Guild operates two museums: Downtown Novato Museum and Hamilton Field History Museum.
