Alpha Chi Sigma is the professional Chemistry fraternity for those working in Chemistry-related fields. The Sigma Chapter was founded at the University of California Berkeley in 1913. Since our foundation we operate with the following objects in mind: 1. To bind its members with a tie of true and lasting friendship. 2. To strive for the advancement of chemistry both as a science and as a profession. 3. To aid its members by every honorable means in the attainment of their ambitions as chemists throughout their mortal lives.

We provide and maintain the building used for meetings tutoring and low-cost student housing for up to 25 students at the University of California Berkeley in addition to rent maintenance utilities supplies and food we also have expenses for community outreach.
