Highland Park Peace Project (the "corporation") is organized exclusively for the charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Specifically, but not exclusively, this corporation is organized for the charitable educational purposes of advancing education related to the prevention of gun violence through the deterrence of sales and distribution of automatic and semi-automatic military style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines to the civilian people. Additionally, this corporation is organized to engage in any lawful act or activity including dealing in and with real estate and personal property, in connection with the pursuance of the above stated charitable purposes.
