Upper Applegate All-Lands Wildfire Resiliency Project

Over the past two years the project has supported private landowners across the applegate valley with wildfire risk mitigation through mechanical fuels treatments. This project was borne out of funding from the odof small forestland grant and has been supplemented w/ additional funding from a us forest service su stainable N.W grant.

Aquatic

Cheney creek tributary culvert placement - in 2025 apwc replaced an aging, perched culvert on a tributary to cheney creek, restoring access to important off-channel habitat used by coho salmon and steelhead during high flows.

Applegate outdoor school (aos)- is a day-only program located at cantrall buckley park in ruch, oregon. In april 2025, we hosted sixth graders from the medford school district's hedrick middle school in weeklong sessions of outdoor, inquiry-based learning.
