Wildlife Infrastructure

Mountain top wildlife completed construction on a 2,100 square foot flight enclosure for eagles and large raptors. In the fall, construction began on two temperature-controlled intensive care units for raptors, songbirds, and mammals. Construction also began on surgical suite and diagnostic treatment room.

Wildlife Rehabilitation

Mountain top wildlife received 81 patients for rehabilitation, including small and medium mammals, fawns, songbirds, and raptors. Successful releases included three deer fawns, multiple species of owls and hawks, migratory songbirds, hatchling songbirds, multiple litters of neonatal squirrels, and a mountain beaver.

Wildlife Education

Mountain top wildlife presented to more than 450 community members at local events and schools. Presentations included information about wildlife conservation, natural history of native wildlife, and promoting humane interactions with wildlife.
