Hands for Peacemaking Foundation's mission is to assist people living in extreme poverty in the NW Highland area of rural Guatemala to become self-sufficient. This is accomplished through training in agriculture, establishment or improvement of water supply, sanitation, cooking methods and building schools for the youth.

One volunteer group with 7 team members from North America traveled to Guatemala, and three groups visited firtually to assist villagers in 4 villages, installed 245 highly efficient Aler Stoves for cooking and heating, built a one classroom school in one village, one water systems in one villages consisting of two 2500 liter water tanks…
