The Foundation will undertake and/or support activities to provide relief to the poor, distressed, and underprivileged by offering or supporting workforce training, literacy programs, and educational programs designed to improve job skills among the unemployed, underemployed, and economically underprivileged throughout the greater kansas city region; promote social welfare and inclusive prosperity, eliminate racial prejudice and discrimination, lessen the burdens of government, and combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency by supporting community development in the greater kansas city region in the areas of social and health issues, race relations, neighborhood improvement, and economic growth; and engage in such other charitable, scientific, and educational activities as are consistent with the purposes of the proceding section.
