Severe Disorders of Consciousness

Ibrf has developed DR. Defina's advanced care PROTOCOL/MULTICARE protocol (ACP/MCP) that utilizes targeted neuromodulation procedures to normalize the brain's electrochemical environment to improve brain function. This year, ibrf placed sdoc programs in a variety of HOSPITAL/NURSING/REHAB facilities with implementation of the protocol.

Ibrf continues to work collaboratively in research with DR. Max hilz of nyu and DR. Alvaro pascual-leone of harvard university for improved treatments for traumatic brain injury. Neurodegenerative, Developmental, and Related Disorders

Ibrf has begun research in the use of infrared light therapy combined with nutraceuticals and electrical stimulation protocols and neurofeedback for dementia. Ibrf continues international collaborations to conduct research on neurophysiological diagnostic and treatment modalities in this area.
