Mesacan provides short-term financial assistance for rent, mortgage, and utilities to prevent eviction or loss of essential services for approximately 2,700 mesa residents annually. Case managers help address underlying barriers such as access to benefits, limited job skills, and financial literacy.

Assets to opportunity (ato) is a matched savings program that assists about 100 participants each year in pursuing higher education or small business development. It strengthens long-term financial health through coaching, resource referrals, and guided savings plans.
