The common ground program is dedicated to building trust, bridges, and relationships. We develop creative programs to improve wildlife management, support private land stewardship, maintain agriculture and working lands, and preserve our cultural heritage.

The black butte copper mine project was part of one montana's work to build community resilience and provide guidance to help communities preserve core rural values while also adapting to new economic and cultural realities.
