Established as a community foundation in 2001 The Westminster Legacy Foundation serves as the leader catalyst and resource for philanthropy in our community. We provide donors with flexible means of making gifts and bequests to support the charitable causes that make the City of Westminster an outstanding community in which to live work and play.

The Foundation continues to support the Armed Forces Tribute Garden. In 2020 $151,548 was spent to further that purpose. Contributions were $3,200 and investment income $682

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the foundation pivoted to focus on basic needs. In addition to providing funds for those needing assistance in purchasing food the Foundation supported providing shelter for individuals who were experiencing homelessness. Contributions were $90,834 and Expenditures were $70,596
