The agency provides assistance to victims of crime in the lgbtq+ community, whether IT be emergency shelter, transportation, food, clothing or relocation for those living in the shelby county (tennessee) area. The emergency services program takes a holistic approach in bringing resources to victims of crime in the lgbtq+ community. We provide crisis intervention complimented by educational sessions with our community partners to aid and assist in building personal resiliency and regaining individual stability after victimization. Thew agency also provides educational sessions throughtout the year, free of charge, to the shelby county community. Our goal is to promote and educate about healthy relationships and boundaries, self-care, grief and trauma, medical services, tenant and legal rights, and timely information about legistlation which could impact the lgbtq+ community.
