Joy Thrift Store

The joy thrift store collected over $134,000 from 9,582 purchases throughout 2024. The store receives gently used donated goods that are resold to the community at an affordable price. Approximately 85 percent of those orders came from people who live in hamtramck, michigan.

Sylhet Farm Community Gardening Program

The farm provided 76 gardeners, many of whom are first-generation immigrants from bangladesh and yemen, with everything they needed to grow their ethnic vegetables on garden plots ranging from 40 to 600 square feet.

Women's Health Program (sisterhood Fitness)

The program served 137 women who came through the doors of sisterhood fitness for an exercise class or a field trip. In addition, 38 women and girls participate in the annual sisterhood fitness walkathon and health challenge, a fundraiser that is also an opportunity to build intercultural relationships.
