Education and outreach programs are focused on educating the general public of SW Colorado on wildfire preparedness including how to create defensible space for their homes and neighborhoods and evacuation planning.

Wildfire Mitigation Incentive Programs help individuals and communities in SW Colorado to reduce the overall cost of completing wildfire risk reduction activities. Activities include: defensible space site visit and cost share program, chipper rebate program, and other community-level projects.
