The Spitfire Club is a charitable education organization whose mission is to enhance literacy and social-emotional skills, nurturing each Spitfire's love of reading, love of self, and love for Spitfires across all communities. The Spitfire Club operates through extracurricular book clubs that create demand for and build inclusive community around diverse, girl-positive books. The Spitfire Club offers out-of-school-time literacy and social-emotional education programming to Title I schools, affordable housing communities, community centers, and libraries, providing both the opportunity for educational support and exposure to life skills that participants may benefit from throughout their lives.

After School Spitfire Club Programming

In 2024, TSC's flagship after school book club program served 149 children aged 6-11 years old, distributed over 900 books, and delivered over 300 hours of live, in-person programming to Club participants.

In 2024, TSC launched its first-ever summer camp, mobilizing 20 volunteers to provide 40 hours of girls' empowerment day camp programming to 33 children. TSC provided transportation, meals, and books for home libraries for all campers.

In partnership with a local public library, TSC licensed Spitfire Club curriculum and loaned class sets of books and necessary materials for librarians to build their own Spitfire Clubs that are free and open to the public. TSC offers this program at no cost to the library.
