Launched in fall 2020 in partnership with the utah league of cities and towns, this program supports cities and towns by providing technical assistance, training, and recognition for local efforts to build coalitions and implement evidence-based strategies that expand access to healthy food, active living, and mental well-being…

Building off the active people, healthy utah initiative, get healthy utah partnered with move utah and bike utah to co- host the first-ever connected communities summit. Brought together over 400 leaders in public health, planning, and policy to advance the vision of a healthier, more connected utah.

National Diabetes Prevention Program for Medicaid

Following the adoption of the national diabetes prevention program (national DPP) as a covered benefit under utah medicaid in 2022, this project was implemented to improve awareness, participation, and utilization of the benefit.
