Idaho Lions Eye Bank

Provide corneal tissue for 270 corneal transplant recipients. These transplants provided sight to the recipients. Other tissue not acceptable for transplant was used for research.

Idaho lions vision clinic provides eye screening and exams along with eyeglasses and other services. Optometric services were provided to 26 patients and 49 pair of eyeglasses were dispensed to patients.

Provide assistance for 3 individuals for operations and other medical needs for sight and hearing problems for those unable to otherwise pay for such services. In addition 34 DONATED/REFURBISHED hearing aids were dispensed to hearing aid recipients.
