Where the work happens
Community Forestry. Hosted 1328 volunteer visits from community groups and individuals who came to help care for our native forest and the infrastructure on our site. mprovements were made to the State wildlife sanctuary site, including an open shelter for educational and forestry activities.
Youth education. Hosted 857 student field trip participants at our project site, ranging from Pre-K to High School. They learn about the environment and plant or care for the native forest. Conducted in-school workshops for 615 students on environmental education.
Teacher Training. Conducted for-credit teacher training for public school teachers, as well as other training for science teachers in the use of our science curriculum that has a focus of climate change. 38 teachers trained.
