Awarded to: DR. Lucio castilla, univ or massachusetts medical school for 'modeling familial platelet disorder mutations in mice; DR.

2020 independent grants of $259,500 funded solely by RUNX1 foundation, includes DR. Anna brown, university of south australia, and DR. Nancy speck at the university of pennsylvania continues to develop a mouse model of RUNX1-FPD by introducing mutations into the RUNX1 gene that lower the effective RUNX1 dosage in the mouse.
