Rescue and Rehome Program

Barn sanctuary worked with local law enforcement, area humane societies and concerned citizens to provide rescue and rehabilitation to farmed animals suffering from abandonment, abuse and neglect.

We provided safe haven and life-long care to over 140 rescued farmed animals, including cows, donkeys, cats, goats, pigs, potbellied pigs, sheep, ducks, chickens and turkeys. Each individual farmed animal was provided with safe, clean-living spaces both indoors and outdoors, with plenty of pasture space and shelter from inclement…
