Appalachian non-timber forest product education and economic development. The yew mountain center is a destination to learn about forest farming and the value of appalachian non-timber forest products including native plants, mushrooms, tree saps and honeybees.

The yew mountain center offers workshops, nature retreats and special events based on appalachian ecology, arts and culture. Youth experiential education. Field trips and an outdoors focused middle school bring experiential learning opportunities to local youth.
