In all of its programs, B.E.A.R. Serviced more than 700 community members last year, more than ever before in its history. B.E.A.R. Has three main programs, listed below:venture out mentoring program: through mentoring activities that incorporate the benefits of being outdoors, the venture out program replicates an evidence-based program…

Venture ed leaders offers site specific outdoor education, teamwork and leadership activities, field trips and facilitation on B.E.A.R.'S newly constructed high and low ropes challenge course. These programs are available to schools and other adult and youth groups county wide.

B.E.A.R. Summer camps augment both venture out and venture ed programming with multi-day trips and also offer enrichment activities focused on place-based education and personal development for more youth who attend these fun, empowering and skill building camps. Typically, approximately 50 youth are served by this program.
