Environmental Stewardship Outreach program places knowledgeable people at community events to empower individuals to become environmental stewards and inspires everyone to protect and restore the native habitat. Presentations, informational handouts, examples of native plants and answers to environmental concerns are addressed.
New Start Community Garden is over an acre of leased land with a community pea patch, fruit orchard, berry patch, pollinator garden, herb garden, tea garden, edible flower garden and space for local high school students and community members to get their hands on experience growing, drying and preserving food crops, building garden beds…
Myers Way Experiential Learning Program. This environmental program removes invasive weed species and restores habitats with native plants near Myers Way Wetlands to protect the health of Puget Sound and its residents.
