We are dedicated to maintaining and restoring the historic Volant Mills original stone milling of local organic grains. Thanks to awarded grants, we have successfully restored the circa 1900 grain milling equipment. Additionally, dam restoration grants have funded a new control gate structure essential for monitoring water flow.

We have established a vibrant forum to support and encourage local Amish craftsmen in the production and sale of their goods, including handcrafted furniture, rugs, quilts, and other home furnishings, as well as organic home-baked and canned goods.

We have developed and maintained a two-acre community park, featuring a spacious parking lot that serves both the downtown shopping district and the local Volunteer Fire Department for their occasional events. The park boasts a childrens playground and a trout fishing stream, which is a favorite spot for local fly fishermen.
