Aurora Picture Show presents 2-3 screenings per month of non-commercial films including short works, experimental films, found footage, documentaries, personal narratives, video art and new media. These are presented along with the artist, curator, writer, teacher and/or critic usually present to host a discussion about the screening.

Aurora Picture Show offers community education programs and services for all ages and all levels of expertise in film, video and new media as well as providing a home for engaging and informing the community about a wide range of media and film topics. Programs include camps and workshops for youth and adults.
