Beyond the esophagus. Egids are a collection of chronic inflammatory diseases including eosinophilic esophagitis (eoe), eosinophilic gastritis (eg) eosinophilic gastroenteritis(ege), and eosinophilic colitis (ec). Among the egids, eoe has become an increasingly recognized and studied condition.
