Classical music inspires and restores the human spirit. Kmfa classical 89.5 handcrafts exceptional classical music experiences on-air, online, and in community. Kmfa 89.5 is an independent public classical radio station providing a 24/7 classical music service to approximately 80,000 listeners each week. Kmfa broadcasts performances of local music groups, expanding appreciation of local cultural resources. Kmfa encourages arts education and supports the central texas community with outreach programs such as an annual musical instrument drive, a summer radio camp for kids, and station tours for youth and adult groups.

Kmfa is a rare non-commercial, not-for-profit, independent, pure classical music-formatted radio station originating from austin, texas covering a 60-MILE radius in central texas and streaming globally on KMFA.ORG. Kmfa broadcasts nationally and locally produced classical music programming to approximately 80,000 listeners per week.
