Charitable Giving

501 (c) (3) organizations operating in each of Grande Communications' markets (all within Texas) are invited to submit grant applications to the Grande Cares committee in each market. Based on the grant money allocated to each market each quarter, the market-level committee decides which organizations they would like to give to.

Valued Volunteer Grants

Grande Cares members can donate their time to local non-profit organizations and after they accumulate a certain number of hours, the member can request either $200 or $400 be paid to the non-profit organization.

Grande Employee Memorial Scholarship Grants

Each year, the Grande Cares organization awards scholarships to one or more students for their post-secondary education. Potential scholarship awardees are asked to complete an application, which is reviewed and voted on by a scholarship subcommittee of Grande Cares. In 2022, zero scholarships were awarded.
