The effectiveness of cedar creek's curriculum is apparent in the students' academic accomplishments, such as the high number of ap scholars and admission to prestigious colleges. Advanced honors courses are available to academically gifted students beginning in the sixth grade.

Cedar creek athletics offer cross country, football, girls and boys basketball, softball, baseball, track and field, golf, tennis, swimming, and powerlifting. A number of these programs, along with private lessons and camps, are also available to younger students.
