Bmu Food Pantry

program began January 2019 serving approximately 30 families per month. By January 2020, program grew to serving 100 households per month and the need has grown exponentially since March 2020 with the onset of COVID-19. Program is serving 500 households per month and BMU delivers food to the elderly and homebound neighbors.

Restorative Justice Center

center opened in February 2020 just prior to the start of COVID-19 Pandemic. Center serves men and women who are being released from prison. They are assisted in navigating through the maze of returning to life in the community and with their families.

Urban Pre-Vocational Program

BMU is certified by the state of Nebraska Department of Education to provide this adult education program. Program is 120 hours & 8 weeks long prepares individuals for careers in the construction workforce.
