Conservation

Conservation of wetland, salt pond and beach habitats at the southgate coastal reserve(scr),to protect nesting habitat for endangered species and for public education and enjoyment. SCR is recognized by birdlife international as an important bird area (iba).

Education

Delivered programs to provide hands-on learning and enjoyment of ST. Croix's wildlife and natural areas through snorkel clinics, coral conservation corp, hikes, turtle watches, kayak trips, bird watching and other special activities.

Advocacy

Programs focused on community organizing by training and coordinating a coalition of dedicated community members to take action on environmental justice issues on ST. Croix. Continuing work with the epa to enforce regulations on the limetree bay refinery. Held virtual town hall meetings with local residents and officials.
